Two different questions
"Generate me a video" and "edit this video" are not the same request. The first one is a single AI call that produces a clip. The second is dozens of decisions: which take, where to cut, what's too long, what needs a caption, what the client will push back on.
Arsaze is built for the second question. Every one of those decisions is something an agent can act on directly, whether it is a cut, a caption, a search or a client note.

Precision, not prompts
A professional editor doesn't describe a vibe and hope. They trim to the frame, they know exactly where the cut lands, they can undo one specific change without touching the rest.
An agent works the same way. It can add a clip, cut it, move it or trim it to an exact frame, and each change has a precise result, not a regenerated guess. An agent connected over MCP, Claude included, can do a frame-accurate edit, not a rough approximation of one.
Media management at the scale editors actually work at
A real project isn't three clips. It's hours of footage, dozens of takes, B-roll nobody's looked at in a week.
Everything you add to Arsaze can be searched by scene or by spoken word, so the take where someone mentions pricing is one search away, not an afternoon of scrubbing.
Version control and client sign-off
Editors don't work in a straight line. They branch, they compare, a client asks for a shorter cut, and none of that should put the approved version at risk.
Arsaze keeps a version history of every edit, and a branch lets you try a shorter cut while the approved version stays as it is. Share a review link and clients comment on the exact frame and version, with no re-uploading. An agent can read those comments and act on them, because each one is attached to a specific moment, not paraphrased in a message.
That loop, feedback in, fix out, version kept, is how a real edit with a client runs.
The finishing tools
A pro suite doesn't stop at the cut. Rewrite lets you edit the video by editing its transcript. Auto Cut strips silence or named words. Auto Captions works down to the word. Instant Voice Cloning takes under a minute. Voice Over records in the browser against the live timeline.
Every one of these is available to a person clicking through the UI, and to an agent calling the same operation.

Most of what's above works one step at a time. You can also describe the whole edit in one request, and the AI plans it, deciding the pacing and where B-roll fits, then builds the result on the timeline.

What this isn't
It's not "type a sentence, get a video." That's a different category, and it solves a different problem. If what you need is a fifteen-second clip from a text prompt, that's not what Arsaze is for.
What it's for is the actual editing job: real footage, real revisions, a client who wants changes, an agent that needs to do precise, repeatable work instead of generating something new every time. That job needed a suite, not a prompt box. So we built one that a person and an agent can both work in.
