1. Who we are
Arsaze (www.arsaze.com) is developed and owned by Sidhilynx, an MSME-registered startup based in Chennai, India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Arsaze, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Account information you provide (name, email, password). Payment and billing details, processed through our payment processor (e.g. Stripe) — we do not store full card numbers on our own servers. Content you upload to the platform (video, images, audio) and content you generate on the platform using our AI tools. Usage and analytics data such as log data, device/browser information, and how you interact with the editor.
3. Analysis of your uploaded content is opt-in
When you upload media, our AI agent will analyze its video and audio only if you explicitly choose to run analysis on that upload (e.g. by tapping "Analyze"). If you don't do this, smart, content-aware features that depend on understanding what's in the clip simply won't be available for that upload — the file is otherwise stored and used only to let you edit and produce your project. We do not use your uploaded content to train or improve any AI models, ours or any third party's.
4. AI-generated content and model improvement
Content you create on Arsaze using our generative AI tools (AI-generated images, video, audio, and animation — not raw files you uploaded) may be kept in Arsaze's inventory. After it has been held for more than three (3) days, we may use that generated content to analyze, train, and improve Arsaze's own AI models. You retain ownership of this generated content; our use of it is limited to improving our own models and is never used to build a dataset for sale or transfer to unrelated third parties. We are careful to keep this separate from your raw uploads: your original uploaded footage, images, and audio are never used for training, regardless of retention period.
5. Editing decisions and suggestions
While you edit, Arsaze records the editing decisions you make: where you cut, how clips are timed and placed, which looks and transitions you apply, and whether you take, change or dismiss the editor's suggestions. A decision is described by timings, counts and settings, never by your footage, audio, or the words spoken in it. One exception, kept to your own account: to tailor suggestions, Arsaze notes which common filler words (such as "basically" or "you know") you tend to cut. These are never used to train models. A project you bring in from another editor counts as decisions too, so suggestions can follow how you already edit. When you publish a video you exported from Arsaze, we may connect its viewing numbers to the edit it came from, to learn which editing choices hold viewers. Review notes left on your project are counted by their type and the moment they point at, never their text. We use these records to tune suggestions to how you edit, and, unless you turn it off, to improve Arsaze's own editing models; for that, your name is never included and every id is replaced with a one-way code. You can turn this off at any time in Settings, under Privacy ("Learn from my edits"), and your edits are then left out of model training.
6. Third-party service providers
We work with third-party providers to operate Arsaze, including cloud hosting (such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or Vercel), payment processing (such as Stripe), and AI/model providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) used within our editing pipeline. We also route certain generation requests to external AI video/image/audio generation platforms; these third-party platforms may have their own data practices, and some may use submitted data for their own model training in line with their own terms. We choose providers carefully and only share the data necessary for them to perform the requested operation. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
7. Data retention and account deletion
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data and content within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, or where content is part of a backup that ages out on its normal cycle.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the details below. You may also withdraw consent for optional features (such as content analysis) at any time by simply not opting into them for a given upload, and turn off the use of your editing decisions for model training in Settings.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
Arsaze is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes relating to this policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
