How it works
Choose a clip in the Windows app and start the cutout. The work runs on your own processor, so it does not use AI credits and there is no per-clip fee. The result is a new clip, a WebM file with a real alpha channel: the person from your footage, and nothing behind them.
That new clip is added next to the original. Your source footage is not changed, and you can place the cutout on any track above other video, a color, a graphic or a generated scene.

Limits, stated plainly
- It is built to cut out people. It is not a general tool for isolating objects.
- How long it takes depends on your computer and the length of the clip. Long clips on a slow machine take a while.
- Hair, motion blur and busy backgrounds are harder for any cutout. Check the result on the timeline before you build on it.
- The free version is part of the Windows app. In the browser it runs in the cloud and needs a paid plan.
