Arsaze tracks a face, a product or a number plate through a shot and turns the track into a finished result in one click: blur, cover, spotlight, magnify, label, follow cam, lock on or steady. You mark the target with a box or describe it, and an AI assistant can do the same in a single call. Tracking on your own PC in the Windows app does not use AI credits.

How tracking works in Arsaze
- Mark it. Drag a box around the target on any frame, or describe it, such as the person in red at 0:14.
- It is followed. Arsaze records its position, size and rotation through the shot, forward and backward. If it is hidden or leaves the frame, it is picked up again when it returns.
- Fix only what is wrong. Where the track slips, re-mark it on that frame. Only that stretch is followed again, and the rest of the track stays as it was.
- Use it anywhere. Apply a finished result, attach a clip of your own to it, or let graphics ride on it in an Animate scene.
The eight tools made from a track
| Blur | Hides a face, a number plate or a screen. |
|---|---|
| Cover | A solid shape that moves and turns with the target. |
| Spotlight | Dims everything else in the frame. |
| Magnify | A lens that stays on the target. |
| Label | A caption that rides along. |
| Follow cam | Zooms in and keeps the target in frame, so wide footage becomes a tall video. |
| Lock on | Holds the target still while the picture moves around it. |
| Steady | Takes the shake out of the shot. |
Each result is built from ordinary clips and keyframes on your timeline, so you can move, retime or delete any piece afterwards. Your footage clip itself is never edited.
Tracking with an AI assistant
An assistant connected over MCP can start a track and choose a tool in one request, for example to blur the face of the person speaking. The result lands on the timeline like any other edit, versioned so you can step back.
Tracking inside Animate scenes
In Animate, a layer can follow a track, stick beside it or be pinned onto it, and a camera solve recovers how the real camera moved so a title can hold its place in the room. A track follows one thing that moves. A solve describes the camera itself. You can use both in the same scene.
Limits, stated plainly
- Corner-pin onto a surface works inside Animate scenes. It is not on the main timeline yet.
- Blur, spotlight and magnify use moving masks, so they take longer to export than cover or label.
- On your own PC, tracking runs in the Windows app. In the browser it runs in the cloud.
Questions and answers
Can I blur a face that moves in a video?
Yes. Mark the face once, and Arsaze follows it through the shot and applies a blur that moves with it. If the track slips on a few frames, re-mark only those frames.
What happens if the target leaves the frame?
Arsaze picks it up again when it comes back into view, and you can re-mark any frame where the track is wrong without redoing the whole shot.
Does it cost AI credits?
Tracking on your own PC in the Windows app does not use AI credits.
Can I turn a wide video into a vertical one that follows the subject?
Yes. Follow cam zooms in on the target and keeps it in frame, which turns wide footage into a tall video.
Can an AI assistant do the tracking?
Yes. An assistant connected over MCP can ask for the face or the person in a clip, track it and apply a tool in a single request.
Can graphics follow a tracked object?
Yes. In an Animate scene a layer can ride a track, stick beside it or be pinned onto it.
