About

This free online GIF maker turns a set of photos or screenshots into an animated GIF that repeats. Add two or more images, put them in the order you want, choose how fast they change, and download the result. No sign-up is needed, and your images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded.

Each image becomes one frame. Point at a frame to show its arrow buttons, which move it earlier or later, or its bin icon, which removes it. Frame Speed sets the pace from Fast (20 fps) to Slow (2 fps), and Output Width sets the width to 320px, 480px or 640px. The height follows the shape of your first image, so use images of the same proportions to avoid stretching.

The Frame preview plays the frames at the speed you chose, so you can check the timing before you generate the file. Click Generate GIF to build the animation, then Download Animated GIF to save it as animation.gif.

Questions

Is the GIF maker free?

Yes. The tool is free to use, and there is no sign-up step on the page.

Does it add a watermark?

No. The GIF contains only the images you added, shown in the order you chose.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The images are processed in your browser and are not sent to a server.

What image formats can I use?

The page accepts JPG, PNG and WebP images. Use Add More to add further images to the same GIF.

Is there a limit on the number of frames?

The page does not set a limit on the number of frames. A long set of large images can be slow to generate on an older computer, so choose a smaller Output Width if it takes too long.

Can I make a GIF from a video?

This page makes a GIF from still images. Use the video to GIF tool on this site to convert a video clip.
