About
This free online image flipper mirrors a photo or graphic horizontally or vertically, or rotates it 90 degrees, in one click. Flip and rotate as many times as you need, then save the result as PNG, JPG or WebP. Your image is processed in your browser and is not uploaded, and there is no sign-up step.
The Transform panel has four buttons: Flip Horizontal, Flip Vertical, Rotate 90° CW and Rotate 90° CCW. The line under the preview lists each change you have made and the output size, such as 1920×1080. Click a flip button again to undo it, and use Reset to go back to the image you opened.
Save as chooses PNG, JPG or WebP, and it starts on the same type as your image when that is JPG, PNG or WebP. The file is saved at the full size of your image, not the preview size, and it is named with -flipped added to the original name.

In the Transform panel, click Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical, or Rotate 90° CW or Rotate 90° CCW. Check the preview, and the line under it shows the output size.

Under Save as, pick PNG, JPG or WebP. PNG and WebP keep transparency, and JPG does not.

Is the image flipper free?
Yes. The tool is free to use, and there is no sign-up step on the page.
What is the difference between flipping and rotating?
Flip mirrors the image left to right or top to bottom. Rotate turns the image 90 degrees, and its width and height swap.
Does flipping lower the quality?
Saving as PNG keeps every pixel. JPG and WebP files are saved at 92% quality, so choose PNG if you want no loss at all.
What is the largest image I can flip?
Images up to 36 megapixels can be opened, which is about 6000 by 6000 pixels. A larger image is refused with a message on the page.
Can I undo a flip?
Yes. Click the same flip button again to reverse it, or click Reset to return to the image as you opened it.
Does it add a watermark?
No. The saved image contains only your picture with the changes you made.
