About

Record your voice or any microphone sound and save it as an MP3 with this free online MP3 recorder. It runs in your browser, needs no app and no account. Click Record Voice Memo, speak, and click Finish & Encode MP3 when you are done. The take is ready to play back and download a moment later.

Choose 128, 192 or 320 kbps under MP3 Bitrate before you record. A higher bitrate gives a larger file with more detail, and 192 kbps is selected by default. While you record, the live level bars move with the sound so you can see whether the microphone is picking you up, and a REC timer shows how long you have been recording.

The recording is made and encoded on your device. The page does not send it to a server, and it adds no watermark to the file. Your browser asks for microphone access the first time you record, so allow it for this page. If access was blocked, the page shows a message asking you to allow it.
