About
Crop a video into a circle for a round profile picture, a talking-head bubble or a presenter overlay with this free online circle video cropper. Drop in an MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV file, and the circle is cut from the picture so that your subject sits inside it.
Use Zoom / Scale to change how much of the picture fills the circle, and Horizontal Pan and Vertical Pan to move the picture inside it. Pick a Background Fill of Black, White, Green Screen or Studio Blue for the area outside the circle. For an outline, set a Border Width above 0, up to 24 px, and choose a Ring Color.
The output is a square video. Its size follows the zoom, so a larger zoom gives a larger square. The file is processed in your browser and not uploaded, the sound from the original is kept, and the page adds no watermark. Click Export Circle Video, then Download Circle Video when it is ready.

Is the circle video cropper free?
Yes. The tool is free to use and does not ask you to sign up.
Can the background be transparent?
No. The area outside the circle is filled with the Background Fill colour you pick, so the exported file is a square video with a solid background.
Does the circle video keep the sound?
Yes, when the original video has sound. The audio is copied into the new file without being re-recorded.
How do I add a border to a circle video?
Under Border Ring, set Border Width to a number above 0, up to 24 px, then choose a Ring Color. The ring is drawn around the edge of the circle in the exported video.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. The video is processed in your browser on your device, and the file is saved only when you click Download Circle Video.
