We launched Arsaze on 29 September 2026. Four days in, people in 13 countries and regions had made an account, and we wrote about it because we had not expected it.
Today is 11 October, twelve days after launch, and that number is 41. The live map on the home page shows them.
The list
Forty of the 41 are on the map. Here they are by region:
- Asia: India, Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Pakistan, the Philippines, Tajikistan, South Korea and Nepal.
- Middle East: Oman, Türkiye, Israel and Jordan.
- Europe: the Netherlands, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, Lithuania, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia, France, Italy, Belgium and Austria.
- Africa: Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt and Algeria.
- North America, Central America and the Caribbean: the United States, Mexico, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic.
- South America: Brazil, Colombia and Argentina.
- Oceania: Australia and New Zealand.
One more place has accounts and is not shown on the map or named here. It is counted in the 41.
What is new since the first four days
Twenty-eight places are new since the first post. South America was not on the map at all then; Brazil, Colombia and Argentina are now. With that, there is someone with an Arsaze account on every continent where people live.
Africa went from one country to five. Europe went from four to twelve.
What we can say, and what we are not saying
As in the first post, we are not publishing user numbers. Twelve days is still early, the number of accounts is still small, and a figure without context would say less than the map does. The map tells you where, not how many.
Most of our early accounts are still in India. Arsaze is built in Chennai by Sidhilynx, so that is where the first people to hear about it are. The other places are spread thinly.
The country comes from the account record. It reflects where a person signed up, not where they edit from on a given day. A place lights up when one person there has made an account, so a glowing country can mean exactly one person.
Why it spread, as far as we know
We do not know. In the first post we listed three guesses: the product is easy to describe in one line, it is listed in several MCP directories, and there is a free plan with the full editor. They are still guesses. We have not run a survey, and we will not present a reason as a finding until we have asked people.
If you signed up from one of these places, we would like to hear how you found Arsaze. Write to support@arsaze.com.
What we have shipped since the first post
The first post said that people were going to use Arsaze in languages we do not speak and on setups we had not built for yet. Two things have shipped since that speak to that:
- Mac and Linux. The desktop app was Windows only at launch. It now runs on Mac and Linux too, with the same free transcription, background removal, local projects and exports with no watermark.
- Free tools in five more languages. The free browser tools need no login and upload nothing. Their pages are now also in Portuguese, Spanish, German, Turkish and French.
One thing has not changed, and we would rather say so. Transcription on your own computer is English only today. Other languages are transcribed in the cloud, which uses credits. For most of the places on this list, that matters, and it is the gap we most want to close. We will write about it here when there is something real to show.
Thank you
If you are the person behind one of these 41 places, thank you for trying something this new. If you have not tried it yet, the free plan is the fastest way in, and what is Arsaze is the shortest explanation of what it does.
