A month after launch, we had hundreds of reviews and suggestions from people editing with Arsaze: in the app, by email, in DMs and on calls. We read every one. Some praised things we had not thought were special. Many pointed at the same few frustrations. So we redesigned the whole app around them.
What you told us
- "There is too much on screen." New users did not know where to start, and experienced ones kept hunting for tools.
- "I want the AI and the timeline side by side." Switching back and forth broke the flow.
- "Make it feel like a proper editor." People coming from Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut wanted familiar layouts and shortcuts.
- "Let me edit from my phone."
- "Dark is great, but not always."
What changed
- A calmer layout. Fewer panels open at once, tools grouped by the job you are doing, and nothing loud competing for your attention.
- The assistant sits next to the timeline, so you can ask for an edit and watch it happen without leaving your place.
- Familiar editing: a real multi-track timeline, standard shortcuts and a layout that people from other editors recognize in seconds.
- Tab, which suggests your next edit and lets you take it with one key.
- A phone layout built for thumbs.
- Three themes: Dark, Light and Arsaze Dark.
What we took away
A redesign is also about saying no. We retired Playground, our node-based generation space, because most people wanted results on their timeline rather than a graph to wire up. That time went into the editor.
The free plan got bigger too
Many reviews asked for more on the free plan. We listened: free users now get nearly everything paid users get, except AI generation. The details are in everything you get on Arsaze Free.
Keep telling us
This redesign exists because people took the time to write to us. Keep doing it, from the contact page or by replying to any email from us. If you have not tried Arsaze yet, what Arsaze is is a good place to start.
Questions people ask
What changed in the Arsaze redesign?
Arsaze was redesigned around hundreds of user reviews: a calmer layout, the AI assistant next to the timeline, familiar editing and shortcuts, Tab suggestions for the next edit, a phone layout and three themes.
Is Arsaze easy to use for beginners?
Yes. The redesign groups tools by the job you are doing and keeps fewer panels open at once. You can also ask the AI to make edits in plain words, and Tab suggests your next edit as you go.
How do I send feedback to Arsaze?
Use the contact page on arsaze.com or reply to any email from Arsaze. The team reads every message, and the redesign was built from that feedback.
