A lot of video is filmed on a phone, then waits until you get back to a computer to be edited. We rebuilt the Arsaze editor so that wait is optional. Open arsaze.com in your phone's browser, and the full editor is there, laid out for your thumbs.
What you can do on your phone
- Cut, split, trim, delete and reorder clips on the timeline.
- Edit by text: delete words in the transcript to cut them from the video.
- Add and style captions.
- Grade color and adjust audio levels.
- Add media from your library.
- Go back through version history and restore any earlier state.
- Ask the AI: "cut the pauses", "add captions", "make it 30 seconds".
- Take Tab's suggested next edit with a tap.
Built for one hand
The tools sit at the bottom of the screen, where your thumb already is. Split and Delete are always in the same place, and the row of tools changes to clip tools when you select a clip. You can rearrange both: the order, what sits in the fixed bar and what is hidden.
One project, every screen
Your phone and your computer open the same projects. Start a rough cut on the train, finish the color on your laptop, or answer a client's review note from your phone. Every edit lands in version history either way.
What works best on a computer
Some work is still easier on a big screen: long multi-track timelines, fine color work and local projects, which live on the computer that has the files. Rendering on your own machine needs the desktop app.
Native apps
The mobile editor in the browser is the first step. Now that editing on a phone works, native apps are next on our list. Until then, you can add arsaze.com to your home screen from your browser's share or menu button, and it opens like an app.
Good jobs for your phone
- A rough cut of today's clips while they are fresh.
- Captions on a Reel before you post it.
- A quick fix after a client note, without opening your laptop.
Try it
Open arsaze.com on your phone and sign in. If you are new, start with everything you get on Arsaze Free or read about the redesign.
